Need a "Check Up?"

A preventive exam is a yearly physical exam intended to prevent illnesses and detect health concerns early. This is a thorough review of your general well being. Most insurance companies may refer to this exam as a "Preventative Exam" or "Wellness Exam". 

Depending on your age and gender, services may include:

  • Complete physical exam

  • Immunization/vaccination review and update

  • Age-appropriate heart disease screenings (i.e. blood pressure, EKG)

  • Cancer risk screenings (cervical, prostate, lung, breast and colorectal screenings)

  • Sexually-transmitted disease testing

  • Evaluation for signs of depression

  • Screening labs (i.e. blood glucose, cholesterol, thyroid disease)

  • Alcohol, diet, exercise and tobacco counseling​
